When you come in for your Sylfirm X treatment, you will be treated in the following steps:

1. We will apply numbing cream to your face and allow about 30 minutes for it to take effect.
2. Once your skin is numb, we move the Sylfirm X handpiece across your skin, delivering controlled RF energy as the microneedles penetrate your skin to precise, therapeutic depths.
3. The Sylfirm X treatment is virtually painless, with most patients only feeling mild pressure or a light tingling or pricking sensation.

The procedure takes about an hour, depending on the size and number of treatment areas being addressed.

Because Sylfirm X is non-invasive, you can return to your daily activities immediately after treatment. Your skin may feel tight, red, and inflamed (like after a mild sunburn), but these are normal side effects and will subside within 24 hours. You may apply ice to soothe the area if you wish. Still, you should generally use gentle cleansers and avoid exfoliating (both chemical and physical) for about a week.
