PicoLO is a laser-based cosmetic treatment that improves the appearance of acne scars. The heat from the laser device removes the outer layer of the skin where an acne scar has formed. The heat energy also stimulates the production of collagen, which promotes the creation of new cells to replace the dead ones.

While this treatment may not completely remove scars, it can make them much less noticeable.
