What Can I Expect From My Laser Hair Removal Treatment?
The treatment area will be wiped with a sanitizing solution to ensure an even distribution of the laser. Laser Hair Removal FAQs
You will need multiple sessions to achieve ideal results, as the hair follicles grow in stages before they come to the surface. Multiple sessions ensure we are targeting the hair follicles at these various stages.
While this can vary, we usually recommend about six treatment sessions per area for ideal results. However, you will have noticeable hair reduction after just the first few sessions.
After your first session, you’ll see an immediate improvement. After the hair follicles are lasered, the hair will continue through its growth cycle, and the area that was treated will shed some hair. It will then grow back, albeit much more sparsely and with thinner hair. Each session thereafter will show even lighter, thinner hair until it is barely noticeable.
Because the treatment targets hair at the root, it’s crucial that you do not pluck, wax, or pull out the hair with any other method prior to your treatment. Additionally, you MUST shave the treatment area about 24 to 48 hours prior to your appointment so that the hair shaft is short enough that the laser can access the root.
